Intarsia is a type of colourwork knitting where sections of different colours are knitted with separate balls of yarn, to allow you to create your motif. Commonly knitted in stockinette / stocking stitch, just remember to keep twisting the yarn, so that it all stays together. Tips! Kept your balls of yarn close to your knitting to avoid getting into a tangle. Also, to avoid plenty of strands of yarn (that may end up tangled), sew in your cast on strand early on.
