Start by fastening your yarn at the back of your work.

Poke the needle through the right side of the fabric.

Pull the yarn through.

Insert the needle under both ‘legs’ of the stitch above it.

Pull the yarn through.

Insert the needle in the same place where you started and pull the yarn through.

WORKING SIDEWAYS: Insert the needle into the bottom of the stitch you’re finishing and let it come out at the bottom of the next stitch.

WORKING UPWARDS: Insert the needle at the base of the stitch you’re finishing off and let it come out at the bottom of the stitch above.

Repeat these steps according to your design.
