Knitwise, it may sound like a personality trait but it’s actually a technique too! Your pattern might tell you to slip a stitch knitwise to create a neat side edge to your knitting, or it might form a part of a more complex stitch pattern.

If you’re slipping your stitch knit-wise, make sure your yarn is at the back of your work.

Take the tip of your right needle and insert it into the stitch as if you are going to knit it.

Instead of wrapping your yarn around, simply slide the stitch off the left needle. Et voila!
