To begin your double crochet decrease, start by wrapping the yarn around the hook.
Insert your hook into the next stitch
Wrap the yarn around the hook, and bring it through the first loop on the hook into. You know have 3 loops on your hook.
Wrap the yarn around the hook.
Pull it through the first 2 loops on the crochet hook. You know have 2 loops on your hook.
Wrap your yarn around your hook.
Insert your hook into the next stitch on the row you are working.
Wrap the yarn around the hook and pull it through the first stitch on the hook. You now have 4 loops on your hook.
Wrap your yarn and bring it through the first 2 loops. There are now 3 loops on your hook.
Wrap your yarn again, and bring it through all 3 loops on the hook. You have now made your double crochet decrease!
