How to Knit two colour Brioche stitch - Step 1

Step 1

This how-to will show you how to work a two-colour brioche stitch, which is a chunky rib stitch with an amazing texture. When you are working in two colours, each side of the knit will vary slightly, with one colour being more defined on one side, and the other colour on the reverse side. In this video we will be using our Sheepaca Yarn in Pink Lemonade and Lipstick Red, as well as 3.5mm circular knitting needles. Let’s get started!

Step 2

To work in two-colour brioche, we have chosen to cast-on an even number of stitches in one colour, and have joined it in the round. To work this pattern, we will need to work a set-up row. This should be done in the same colour yarn that you cast-on with. Begin by knitting your first stitch.
