In this easy to follow knitting tutorial we will show you all you need to know to carry out a right leaning decrease in your knitting, often called a 'knit two together' or 'k2tog'. Make sure to only knit two stitches together, when you're knitting stocking stitch and are on the right side of your knitting. If you need to carry out a right leaning decrease when on the 'wrong' side of your knitting, you should check out our video for purl side right leaning decrease.
Knit to where you want your decrease to be.
Insert the right needle into the first two stitches on the left needle as if you are going to knit them.
Wrap the yarn, pull it through and slip the stitch off as for a regular knit stitch.
You have now decreased one stitch.
