Move over, we’ve got stitches to increase! This method creates a new stitch between two stitches. To start, find the horizontal bar between the stitch just knitted and the stitch you are about to knit.

Insert the right needle under this strand from the front to the back.

Insert the right needle into the back of this strand from right to left.

Wrap the yarn and pull it through as for a regular stitch. You’ve just increased by one stitch. Hooray!
