This is a filling stitch, use this technique to fill your design with solid colours. Use 2 strands for this technique.
To start, bring the needle up through the fabric at the starting point.
Put the needle down through the fabric on the opposite side of the shape you are filling.
Now bring the needle up on the side of the shape where you started and go back down on the opposite side.
Repeat this process, always coming up and going back down on the opposite side from where you last went through the fabric.
NOTE: Make sure you don’t pull the stitches too tight or your fabric will bunch up inside the stitches!
