To work a treble crochet bobble, first work in single crochet up to the place you want to work your bobble using the main colour.

Now you are ready to work the bobble, the bobble is made up of 5 treble crochet stitches worked in a contrast colour.

Start by wrapping the yarn around the hook twice, insert your yarn into the stitch and pull through a loop.

Wrap the yarn aruond the hook and pull though the first 2 loops.

If you were working a normal treble crochet stitch you would pull the yaarn through these last 2 loops, however to work a bobble you need to repeat steps 3 to 5 a further 4 times. You now have 5 loops of your contast colour and 1 loop of the main colour on your hook.

Drop the contrast colour, wrap the main colour around the hook and pull through all 6 loops on your hook.

Now work in single crochet to your next bobble, trapping the contrast colour under the single corchet stitches as you go.
