We are going to be using 3 different techniques to crochet this blanket: chain stitch, single crochet and double crochet. You will also learn how to change colour and sew in all our ends.
To begin tie a slip knot and start off the middle of your granny chain with 5 chains.
Once you've got 5 chains, create the foundation ring of your granny square by making a slipstitch into the first stitch.
Chain up 3 more stitches, wrap the yarn around your hook once, put it through the central ring and make a double crochet stitch.
