How to Knit A Vertical Invisible Seam - Step 1

Step 1

Thread your darning needle with a length of yarn matching the colour of your piece.

First starting with two garter pieces. Insert your needle underneath the bottom edge of your fabric in between the first and second stitches, pull your yarn through and leave a short tail which you can weave in at the end.

Make the same stitch to your opposite piece.

Take your sewing needle underneath one of the horizontal bars underneath the first and second stitch.
