Insert your needle from the wrong side through to the right side, leaving a length that you can weave in later. Take your needle across your handle and back through to the wrong side to secure.

Work around your handle and stitch into your bag, moving 1 stitch inward from the previous stitch each time.

Continue working around your handle like this, making sure there are no gaps. Your handle might move around but you want to make sure that you hold your handle in place as you move along.

Once you get to the edge of your piece, you want to finish on the wrong side, then you can flip your piece over and weave in your ends.
