Step by Step

How to crochet sand stitch - step 1

Step 1

This stitch is worked over a multiple of 2 stitches. We are working with a foundation chain of 20 stitches.

Make another 2 chain stitches (this counts as 1 turning chain and first chain space).

Work 1 single crochet into the 4th chain stitch from your hook.

Chain 1 stitch and skip the next stitch and work 1 single crochet stitch into the following stitch.
