How To: Unravel Your Knitting - Step 1

Step 1

Sometimes there’s nothing else to do but unravel your knitting! Here you can see a mistake that was made a few rows back.

Decide how many rows you need to undo, and mark this with a little snippet of yarn.

Slide all your stitches off the needle.

Gently pull the yarn so that each stitch comes undone.

When you get to the last row of stitches that you want to unravel, unravel this last row stitch by stitch, and place each stitch on the needle as you go.

Check that the stitches are sitting on the needle in the correct position: the “right” leg of the stitch should be on the front of your needle. Happy knitting!
