It’s the 6th day of making and time to think about wrapping. Give your presents a personalised touch with these yarn-wrapped letters. It’s a great way to make use of your spare yarn, or a good excuse to get your hands on some more!
Time: 15 minutes
Size: Approximately 8cm x 5.5 cm, depending on the letter
The Tool Kit:
Shiny Happy Cotton of your colour choice, we chose Lipstick red.
- Double Sided Tape
Cut the letters you want out of stiff cardboard.
Wrap double sided tape around the horizontal edges.
Cut short strands of cotton, just a few cm long and stick them to the double sided tape vertically so that it covers the horizontal edges.
Stick double sided tape over the whole letter on top of the cotton already there
Peel off the tape backing and then wrap the cotton around the letter horizontally
STEP 6: Cut the thread when the letter is completely wrapped. All done!
Stick onto your presents!
There you have it! An easy way to put a personalised touch on all the gifts for your friends and loved one’s!
