If you follow us on instagram (if you haven’t then you must follow us immediately ) you will find we have launched a shiny new yarn to welcome into the family.
Billie Jean, she’s just a gal who has been made from pre-consumer denim remnants from production at denim mills. In jean production and like most clothing production, there is tons of waste. In this case, after jeans are made, denim scraps and offcuts are gathered, ground back down into fibres and then these fibres are respun into yarn. Sounds great right? Wanna see what you can make with the new gal? Then scroll down but be warned like us you will fall in love with her and like your favourite pair of jeans, you won’t want to let her go.
Where is the ‘gang’ tee from? Or is that just embroidery with the Billie Jean yarn?
You’re right, I did. There’s a Pop Life Cardigan or two, and a sweater in each shade in my future – first cardigan almost done (and almost already appropriated by my eldest daughter!), and I need one of the Cindy bags too, probably also in each shade!
Gorgeous stuff to work with, beautiful soft drapey fabric, and fab end result.
