Hello and welcome to the Farrah Top Knit Along! The Farrah is a classic style and a simple knit, totally ok to be attempted by confident beginners looking to branch out from classic rectangular shapes like scarves and snoods. Let’s get started….

We’ve broken our Knitalong down into five stages, spread across five weeks:

Week 1. 19th May 2016 Front: Rib and piece up to arm holes
Week 2. 26th May 2016 Front: Arm holes and neckline shaping
Week 3. 2nd June 2016 Back: Rib and piece up to arm holes
Week 4. 9th June 2016 Back: Arm holes and shoulder shaping
Week 5. 16th June 2016 Seaming (horizontal + vertical)
And we’ll cover these stitches and techniques:

Rib stitch
Stocking stitch
Decreasing and increasing 
Seaming
Casting on & off 

To make your Farrah you will need to get your hands on a Farrah Top Knit Kit. Inside your Knit Kit you’ll find: 

1 x 5mm / US 8 Rosewood Knitting Needles
