Who is The Gang? The Gang is you, me – all of us. We couldn’t do any of this without you. Let’s hear it for The Gang in all its glory.

We talk about The Gang ALL the time. But what do we mean? Who is this ‘Gang’ and how do I join? Our Gang is everyone at WATG HQ, our makers and hosts, and everyone out there flying the flag for Wool and the Gang and wearing our designs with pride. Let’s break it down…

WATG HQ

WATG HQ is the epicentre of Gang activity. Our little hive is based in Dalston, East London. It’s a hub of activity, and it’s here that our 25-strong team of busy bees makes a lot of the magic happen. Our design, tech, marketing, PR, production, operations, wholesale and customer service teams are all based at WATG HQ. Plus we also have an on-site warehouse (home to our al-packers) and photography space. Small but perfectly formed.

Gang Makers

Our collections are all made in the home – not in factories – by our Gang of makers. Many of our larger pieces are made by our Peruvian Gang, with smaller pieces being produced largely by our UK-based Gang. This year we launched our first crochet collection so our Gang Makers now include knitters AND crocheters. Wanna get your make on? Sign up here.

Party hosts

Our Wool and the Gang Party Hosts are busy helping us to Wool the World by sharing their knit-spertise far and wide. Whether they’re hosting in bars, cafes, at home or at work, these guys are some of our best and boldest Gang ambassadors. So far over 1,000 attendees have got their make on at our Parties – why not join in the fun?

OUR Ready-made and make-it-yourself Gang

Whether you’re wearing our Made By The Gang pieces or making your own, or even buying our yarn and free-styling it,  you’re a part of our Gang and you’re helping us to spread the woolly word. We’ve shipped to 65+ countries and we estimate that over 37,000 Wool and the Gang pieces have been released into the world in the last year alone! Keep on keeping on and wear your wares with pride.
