Hold the empty needle in your right hand.

Take the tip of the right hand needle and insert it into the first stitch on your left needle, from the left side, working from front to back.

Take your yarn in your right hand and wrap it across your right needle from left to right.

Slide the right needle back out of the stitch towards you, scooping up a loop of the wrapped yarn in the process.

You can now use your right needle to slide the stitch off the left needle. You’ve knitted 1 stitch.

Repeat steps 2 to 5 to knit your next stitch.
